We have been consistently analysing the market environment for over 15 years now, while maintaining constant communication with major players. With our dedicated team of 45+ expert staff, we buy, manage, optimise and sell retail centres and retail parks in close consultation with our clients. In most cases, the anchor tenants are well-established food retailers or other high-volume retailers offering a complementary product and service range. 
Investments
TAILOR-MADE INVESTMENTS
Together with our investors, we develop investment concepts that are tailor-made for their individual investment profiles. We continuously analyse market developments and select attractive investment properties. Following due diligence, we develop suitable strategies for these properties. Our acquisition process stands for security and speed – as a result, we are able to acquire attractive properties and portfolios in any kind of market situation. 
Within a five-year period, we have acquired retail centres and retail parks with a value of around one billion euros for institutional investors. Our team then managed, optimised and on-sold these properties, achieving recurring distributions up to 6.5 per cent.

GPEP invests in retail centres and retail markets across Germany. We manage a portfolio of over 260 properties with a value of about one billion euros for our clients, combining approximately 690,000 m2 in rental space and over 700 tenants, including EDEKA, NETTO, RE­WE, Lidl, J. Bünting, Kaufland and ALDI. The vacancy rate of our conservative properties is less than 1 percent. For properties with potential for further development, the vacancy rate stands at about 10 percent on average.

Case Study
Opportunistic Portfolio
Opportunistic portfolio with five properties, which is performing very well thanks to a great purchase opportunity and an active asset management style – despite the fact that one of the properties acquired was a distressed property at the time and another one unexpectedly turned out to be problematic post-purchase. According to a market valuation, the portfolio gained 26.5 per cent in value over a three-year period.
